Ramsey Krause is an Oxford based multi-disciplinary design studio and lifestyle brand founded in 2016 by Alan Ramsey and Peter Krause. The company was born out of the huge range of creative interests that the duo share, their education background (they have degrees in architecture, interior design, creative writing and visual communication) and their desire to tell stories of the past, present and future in their designs.

Ramsey Krause is defined not only by a passion for quality, authenticity, intellectual rigour and attention to detail but by a core belief that you can only fully appreciate something when you understand it or have an openness to it. This is captured in their simple motto ‘Intelligere Fovere’ meaning ‘Understand to Cherish.’

Their interior design projects in luxury hospitality, retail, office and home blend contemporary and classic elements into one cohesive language. Their work in communications design encompasses, brand strategy, identity, print and digital design. The Ramsey Krause shop is a mix between a gallery and a concept store, with contemporary art, antiques, bespoke plaster casts, fashion and homewares. They have two showrooms, one in Oxford and one in Froxfield.

Over the last two years Ramsey Krause has been praised by The New York Times, Le Figaro, Louis Vuitton and luxury hospitality magazines. They collaborate with different industry partners including architects, strategists, digital specialists, antiques collectives, artists and art consultants and product makers. They work across numerous sectors and with organisations of all sizes.
